The Society for French Historical Studies is grateful for all of your support--your energy, your advocacy, your scholarship, and your financial contributions.

If you are a French historian who has not yet joined SFHS, we invite you to become a member!  And if you are, or have been a member in the past, please remember to renew your membership every year.  It is through your sustained support that we are able to achieve our mission.

We appreciate your attendance at our annual meetings, whether as a panelist presenting your research or as someone who simply wants to come and learn more about new, cutting-edge research in French history.  We are also thankful for your service to the Society, such as chairing and commenting on panels at the annual meeting or serving on our various committees.

Finally, we appreciate any additional financial support that you may be able to offer.  Monetary contributions enable us to move forward in new and exciting directions.  In addition, they build the endowments for prizes and awards so that we can be more generous in supporting research and recognizing premiere scholarship in French history.
